Garena introduced the Garena Professional League (GPL) in the month of May 2012, which is a six-month professional gaming league which includes more than 100 matches online. The GPL's inaugural season will be the first online League of Legends tournament with six teams of professional players. They represent the best players from their nations. Garena doesn't just host tournaments but also events that are offline and social events that enable users to engage.
