Mary McCormack was an American actress who is famous for her role as the protagonist in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. She is also popular for her roles in movies such as "Private Parts," "Deep Impact', "True crime' and '1408'. McCormack comes from an unrelated family. Her parents are psychotherapist in a clinical setting and also the proprietor of an ice cream parlor. After the divorce of her parents, she went to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In the year 1990, following graduating from Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA, she graduated. She began her career at 12 years old when she appeared in the stage production "Amahl & the Night Visitors an operetta for Christmas. Following her stage debut and in film, she got parts in small-screen as well as large-screen productions. Her versatility is recognized today. She is the mother of three children together with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
