Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actor and musician from the United States who began her career with clever lyrics that explored racial and sexual identities from the most comical of perspectives. Her career then grew her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first musical experience. She was a trumpet player. Classical, jazz and hip-hop lessons began when she was just a teenager. In college she focused in her studies, pursuing a degree in both journalism and women's issues. While spending a few days of time, she was in Beijing as well, she was also studying Mandarin. Then, after graduation, that she turned her attention towards music. Her hit song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity across the Internet in 2012. It eventually made it in her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. Other hits on the internet that were viral include queef, a body positive song and the winking NYC Bitche$ hometown tour. This song was also featured in the Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. With musician and author in her portfolio, she decided to decided to focus on becoming acting in a third project. Alongside early series such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors as well as Storks. In 2018, she scored several important roles such as Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by In Fina We Trust in June of the same year.
