Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. She was adopted at the age of three by her maternal grandmother living in slums. Her adopted father, a Filipino-American with military background, has a white background and is American. The woman claims that she, her adopted brother and their mother were subjected to abuse in their childhoods until they joined the military. Her family and she moved to Texas when she was 13 because her father needed bypass surgery. They spent a few months there in San Francisco with her aunt. The physical abuse ended however, her father continued to emotionally abuse her at home. Poarch was a member of in the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch launched her TikTok account around April 2020 and swiftly rose to stardom with more than 40 million users within less than eight months. She uploaded many videos, but her one that went on to become most popular was for Millie B's viral hit Soph Aspin Send. It became one of TikTok's most viewed videos. The video was zoomed-in on her dancing while lip-syncing to the track became viral. Following her joining TikTok she created a YouTube and Twitter account to take advantage of her fame. Poarch reached her peak of fame around December. According to reports that she was the subject of two professional Esports team's attention. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves expressed an interest in her hiring as a creator of content under their respective brands.
